When I was young I’d see my parents count the day's receipts at our kitchen table. They poured their hearts into their small business, working from the early morning after I was off to school and into the evening long after it got dark. While they were creating genuine value for their customers - and winning awards for it - they still struggled to make ends meet. Those late nights around that kitchen table planted a seed I'd carry with me through my career on Wall Street: that entrepreneurs are the real backbone of families, communities, and this country and they deserve to see that work rewarded.
However, fifteen years inside Goldman Sachs' wealth management group taught me an uncomfortable truth: the most powerful wealth strategies were reserved for an exclusive club of wealthy people who already had everything. But I grew up with the people working tirelessly, risking everything to build something meaningful. They were deliberately being cut off from accessing these wealth strategies and I was determined to change the game for them.
I've watched too many brilliant founders nearly lose millions to predatory deals or settle for acquisition offers that barely scratch the surface of their true value. I’d seen them make decisions today that would cost them seven figures or more years down the road. I wanted to change the game for them. To steer entrepreneurs toward real wealth.
