While soul searching on a 7-day hike to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Anthony realized he wanted 3 things from his career: to be an entrepreneur, to solve financial problems, and to build deep relationships with people he could help so they could create greater impact and change in the world.
Anthony’s first experience with entrepreneurship was through his parents’ own small business, which they launched the same year he was born. They survived on talent plus extreme work ethic, but observing their long hours, unpredictable income and resulting stress, teenage Anthony concluded they worked too hard for too little. Owning a business just didn’t seem worth it, and they didn’t know how to make the financial system work for them, so it worked against them.
During college, Anthony revisited entrepreneurship in search of a grand formula or a blueprint for success. His quest led him to read over 100 books freshman year, including his 4 favorites: The E-Myth, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Richest Man in Babylon and The Alchemist. There was no “silver bullet” to be found, but through this alternative education he learned that money is just another system, and if you understand the rules of any system, you can harness its power.
Recognizing there is no better teacher than experience, Anthony spent nearly 15 years working for Goldman Sachs Wealth Management. He held positions in operations, management and with the trading desk before becoming a Wealth Advisor in New York City. As a member of the firm’s largest advisory team, Anthony was 1 of 15 advisors entrusted with over $22 billion in client assets. Anthony’s clients included entrepreneurs, executives, private foundations, as well as the partners of Goldman Sachs.
In 2019 Anthony relocated to Colorado, in conjunction with the opening of Goldman Sachs offices in Denver, where he served as a senior advisor and as Head-of-Office until 2023. Anthony has also worked for American Express, Merrill Lynch, and been a partner in a real estate investment company.
Anthony grew up in Utah and enjoys skiing, hiking and the outdoors. He has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and rafted Class V+ rapids in Patagonia. He is also an Eagle Scout and a High School Football State Champion. Anthony earned a B.S. in finance with Cum Laude honors from Westminster University.
Anthony and his wife Lindsy love to travel, especially internationally, and enjoy new culinary experiences. They live in the suburbs of Denver with their one son, Matthew, and their two dogs, Kaiya and Lola, both rescued German Shepard mixes.
